Everyone likes a little adventure...and this time the kids tried their hands at a little water sport. Paradise has definite advantages for teenagers.

I want to buy a new toy

Every morning I am caught up in the ritualistic act of driving my daughter to school. 

If we are running even a moment late then we are sure to face a traffic nightmare. 

Yet....

When I enter the security gate every morning I am always greeted by this beautiful flower. 

It always captures my eye.  

And despite the number of times I have seen it, I have to stop and spend a moment enjoying the pure grace it shares with me. I do this religiously.

I then bid it farewell and return to my assigned spot in the parking garage. 

My usual fare of miscellaneous thoughts are almost always focused on domestically stylized lists of endless responsibilities. However, on this bright day, the simple mirth shared by the flower has been inspiring. 

I am savoring the idea that I have stumbled upon a fresh new thought. 

I want to buy a new toy!  

I want a netbook.  

The want is simple. 

• It is so that I can jot down my ideas when inspired, when I am on the fly. 
• It is so I can reduce the repetitively aggravating little pieces of paper I have piled all around with scribblings of notes for things to write that ultimately mean nothing to me when I find them again. 
• It is so I can have the beauty of a completed thought typed out and stored safely in a little file where I can relish it over and over again. 
• It is so I can carry the spirit of my morning greeting flower with me every where I go.  

Words Escape Me

Well, I spent a pretty penny in time fooling around with the set up features for this blog. Now I am pooped out. Just like an old lady after 2 minutes in her new recliner. Zzzzzzz.
